Dr T.R. Santosh Kumar is Scientist G and Dean (Research Administration) at RGCB. The thrust area of his research is to understand molecular mechanisms of chemo resistance and tumor recurrence in triple negative breast cancer. Another important focus of the laboratory is development of live cell-based assays for identifying molecules that specifically target key pathways in cancer. Dr Santosh Kumar also heads RGCB Research Consultancy Services & Molecular Platforms. These are state of art facilities with well-equipped infrastructure and national cell repository to perform pre-clinical testing of novel molecules for their therapeutic efficacy.
